1927 - 2006
Passed away peacefully with family at her side on October 12, 2006. Predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur "Art" Boville (1991).
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Elinor Gavin (Randy Munro), sister Jill Young (Ron), niece Ami (Nick), nephew Ted (Katrina), grandnephews Dustin & Zack, and family, friends, and beloved pets. Joan grew up in Northern Ontario and greatly loved the outdoors, skiing, spending time at her Hayden Lake cottage, and travelling to Florida with family.
Over the years, she worked as a bookkeeper, owned a restaurant, and managed a golf course.
Always a people and pet person, she treasured time spent with family, friends and her dogs and cats.
Her time in White Rock and South Surrey was joyfully spent with dear friends on the Handidart bus, at the Pelican Restaurant, and her residences at 22nd Ave., Fir Street, and Weatherby Pavillion.
The family would like to thank all of her friends who gave her so much support, and the very caring nurses, doctors, staff and volunteers at Weatherby Pavillion who made her time there wonderful.

A service to remember Joan will be held at The Church of the Holy Trinity,
15115 Roper Ave., White Rock, Friday, October 20 at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
