Jocelyn (Joyce) Hazel Rempel

Passed away peacefully in Peace Portal Lodge, White Rock on Monday, July 11, 2005.

Born May 11, 1926 at Young Saskatchewan to Sydney and Mary Clarke, fourth in a family of eight.

Following completion of high school, she attended Balfour Tech in Regina for a one-year course and spent most of the next 45 years in office work in Regina, Calgary, London, England, Toronto, and White Rock where she settled in 1979.

Married Erdman (Ed) Rempel in December 1980 and was an active member of Peace Portal Alliance Church.

Predeceased by husband Ed, both parents, also four brothers Thomas, Arthur, George and Reginald and sister Phylis Moen.

Remaining family are: brother Cyril (Mabel), Calgary and sister Doreen (Murray) Mackay, Regina as well as seven nieces and eight nephews.

She enriched the lives of all who came in contact with her and will be dearly missed.

Joyce was a dedicated loving wife and friend.

We thank the entire staff of Peace Portal Lodge for their loving care of this lovely lady.

A memorial service was held on Friday, July 15, 2005 at 12 noon at Peace Portal Church in White Rock.

Pallbearers were Daniel Remple, Conrad Messer, Ted Vangeemen, Garth Hunt, Bill Betts and John Enns.
