John Robert "Bob" Harger born November 16, 1903 in Market Harborough U.K. Passed away peacefully November 7, 2002 in White Rock, B.C. just nine days shy of his 99th birthday. Bob is predeceased by his loving wife Ada, in 1990. He is survived by his son Bruce (Jean) Harger, many friends and extended family.
Bob trained as a Royal Navy Midshipman aboard H.M.S. Conway at Liverpool and later served on CP Empress Liners as a wireless officer. Emigrating to Canada, he settled in Saskatchewan in 1927 to farm, moving to Victoria in 1937 and has resided in White Rock since 1949.
