GRIFFITH, Joseph
October 26, 1914 - May 17, 2007
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe Griffith, beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Joe passed away peacefully on May 17, 2007. He is survived by wife Susan, daughter Anna, Son-in law Mel, grandchildren Kiana and Jared and many other family and friends. Born in Carman, MB, Joe went on to become a proud WW2 RCAF/RAF veteran and long time navigator with Trans Canada Airlines (Air Canada), eventually establishing the family home in White Rock in 1967. He was kind and generous man who touched many lives in his 92+ years, building life-long friendships with those he met during his distinguished military service, career and volunteer work. He will be greatly missed but will remain in our hearts always. A celebration of his life will be held at Victory Memorial Park 14831 28th Ave, Surrey BC on May 24th at 1:00pm
Our sincere gratitude goes out to the medical staff and caregivers at Mount St. Joseph's Hospital 3 west and at Holy Family in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
