Judith Marie KALLEVIG

March 15, 2006

Judith Marie Kallevig

went on to Glory on March 15, 2006 only days after her 96th birthday at Westminster House. She was surrounded by her devoted children. Born March 4, 1910 in Kingman, Alberta, she grew up on a section spread and was an avid rider. She was a self-taught, gifted musician playing nine instruments. The harp, violin and organ were among her favorites. She played for hours at a time. Invited to play violin solos, she performed into her late eighties. She also loved to sing; and had a beautiful natural voice. An artist, she painted wonderful Landscapes and Still Lifes. A reserved and dignified lady, she possessed great inner strength. In the last months of her life, she enjoyed conversing with her beloved son Don in Norwegian and reminiscing about her beloved Norway. Survived by her beloved children and their spouses, Don and Verneil Kallevig, Bob and Lorraine McKay, Steve and Marlene Worrall and Verna Kallevig. She was predeceased by her husband Ray.

Good-night, sweet angel.

You will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at White Rock Baptist Church, 1657 - 140th Street, Surrey on Thursday, March 23rd at 2:30pm.
