Karel Arthur IBLE

IBLE, Karel Arthur (Art). Born May 3, 1919 in Edmonton. It is with great sadness that the family of Art Ible announces his passing on February 10, 2006, in White Rock. He will be forever loved and remembered by his four children, David (Helen) of Sechelt, Bill of New Westminster, John (Penny) of Edmonton, and Laurie (Greg Cocar) of White Rock. Sadly missing him are his eight beloved grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris Bredo), Cameron, Graham, Jeff and Kelly Ible, all of Edmonton; Amy (Dirk Denniston) of Ferndale, WA; Hayley Cocar of Victoria and Mason Cocar of White Rock. He also leaves three great grandchildren, Madalyn and Evan Denniston, and Jamie Bredo; his brothers Bill (Nina) and Don (Jean) of Edmonton, and his sister Betty (Truston Childress) of Portland, OR, as well as many nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his wife Shirley of 51 years, his brothers, Fred and Joe, and his sister, Mildred. He proudly served his country in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War II.

Long time residents of Edmonton, Art and Shirley retired to South Surrey in 1987. Art will be remembered by all who knew him for the twinkle in his eye and his sweet peas.
