Kathleen Rogers

Kathleen "Kay" Pearl (nee Orr), born August 7th, 1917 in Champion, Alberta passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8th, 2004 after battling congestive heart failure. As wife, mother, and friend she had an impact on many lives.

She is survived by her husband, Charles L. of 64 years and daughters Rachelle, Laurette (Frank) and Denise (Stephen).

Kathleen was devoted to her family and will always be remembered for her unwavering support and wise counsel. She was the family's anchor and will be so sadly missed.

Kathleen grew up in Courtenay, B.C. and worked at the Bickle Theatre..the pretty lady that took the tickets. After marrying Charles, she moved to Vancouver until they retired to White Rock in 1986. Throughout her life she worked for a variety of organizations including Eaton's, Welch's Chocolates and Evergreen Tours as a Tour Guide with Charles. She was also active in ITC (formerly International Toastmistress).
