SMITH
Kay Smith (nee Barrington) passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 17, 2006 after a 16 month battle with cancer. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Doug, sons Adam, Eliot and Simon, daughter-in-law Melodee, and grandchildren Benjamin and Halle.
Born in Edinburgh on the 4th of July, 1939 she moved to Canada with the family in 1971, which after sojourns in Oakville and Beaconsfield, settled in South Surrey in 1986.
The family wish to thank her family physician Dr. James Robson, and the staff of the BC Cancer Agency, Vancouver for their phenomenal care and attention during her illness. Also, enough gratitude cannot be paid to her wide array of friends who comforted and encouraged her all through this difficult time.
A memorial gathering will be held in the New Year.
