SCHUBERT, Kenneth T.

Ken died peacefully in White Rock on April 25th, 2008 after a long illness. Born June 10th, 1922 in Queen Charlotte City, B.C., youngest of three children of Dudley James and Lily Maud Schubert.

Ken is survived by his loving wife Jean and his six children, Kenneth, Greg (Wendy), Neil (Bridget), Beverley (Robert), Jim (Kelly), Don (Karen), 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Ken served his country in the R.C.A.F/ during WWII and will be remembered for his courage.

He retired in 1978 from B.C. telephone after 33 years of service.

Ken had a great love of the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, gardening and loved animals. He was able to fix just about anything!

He was always willing and worked diligently in his church callings.

Ken was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by his family & friends.

Memorial Services will be held on May 6th at 3:00 p.m. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, 15450 - 20th Ave., Surrey, B.C.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
