Leonard Hall

HALL, Leonard Davis (Dave) Passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2007 at the age of 88 with family at his side. Dave is predeceased by his mother, father and brother, Joe. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret, His daughters Barb Mitchell (Ray) and Brenda Westmacott (Gerry), his grandchildren Shane (Barb), Blair (Eryn), and Kelly Foston, and Patrick (Jodi). Lauren and Bradley Westmacott, and great-granddaughter Alexandra Foston. He is also survived by his nieces Wendy Baronitsky and Kathy Hall.


Dave was born April 22, 1981 in Brandon, Manitoba and grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He raised his family in Victoria B.C. and moved to White Rock on retirement in 1977.


Music was his passion in life. He played many instruments and enjoyed sharing his love of music with others both formally and informally, including the original Naden Band, the Legion, and the ECU at Peace Arch Hospital. Many happy hours were spent at the Legion 240 Crescent Beach where he was President for two terms. Dave was known for his great sense of humour, his wonderful stories and his sound advice.


Dave and Margaret spent many wonderful years traveling, especially to the Salton Sea in California
