September 5, 2017

On September 5th Leonard Joseph Francis Martin passed away peacefully after a long and courageous fight with cancer.

His positive and brave attitude will be remembered by many in his community. His fighting spirit was very inspiring. Leonard was born in Saskatchewan on Oct. 9 1946, but moved with his mother to B.C. as a young boy.

He will be greatly missed by his mother, Cora May Upex, his sisters Joyce and Marian Upex as well as his brother, Tom Upex, sister in law Scout Upex and nephews Tom and Scott Lougheed, Jacob and Clayton Upex and niece, Emily Lougheed. There will be a service at Whiterock Community Church at 15280 Pacific Avenue Monday September 25th at 1:30 pm.
