Leslie (Les) Mallett
June 13, 1916 - December 30, 2008
We are sad to report the passing of Les Mallett of White Rock, B.C. on December 30, 2008 after a brief illness. Les was 92 years of age. He joins his wife of 65 years (Joyce) who passed away in November of 2008 (age 91). Born and raised in the Forestburg area of Alberta he and Joyce moved to High River Alberta where he was the area Health Inspector for the Foothills Health Unit until retirement. He and Joyce then moved to White Rock B.C. where they enjoyed traveling in their camper van including a trip to Alabama and Oklahoma to visit Joyce's roots.
He will be missed by his children Ken (Terrie), Richard (Gayle), Howard (Brenda) and Elizabeth (Doug) and 8 grandchildren and 5 great grand- children.An informal memorial was held in their home with friends and family including Les's 96 year old brother Clifford. Also survived by sisters Elsie and Jeanne
