Lindy Jean Arnold

1 October 1945 – 11 January 2008

Lindy Jean Arnold (nee Wilson) died suddenly on January 11, in Calgary. Predeceased by her father Jack Wilson in 1996, she leaves to mourn her loving husband Erlends Didrichsons, her mother Thelma Wilson, sister

Sheila Engh and husband Chris, brother John Wilson and wife Roberta, brother Jim Wilson, sister Ann Boyle and husband Chris, sister Laurie Adams and husband Reg, as well as her nephews Christian, Robert, Steven, Derrick and Spencer, her niece Hayley, her grand-nephews and grand-niece, many cousins, and aunts and uncles.

Lindy graduated from Lord Tweedsmuir High School and attended UBC. She taught school for several years. She had many adventures in her life, including sailing a trimaran from Crescent Beach to Florida, through the Panama Canal. She was a city manager in a borough of Toronto. Then she became an executive recruiter, which she worked at until her death.

She had a wonderful zest for life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. It was her request that there be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Women's Shelter.
