Lynette passed away peacefully on 29 December 2006 in Nanaimo after a brief illness. She was born in December 1915 at Langley Prairie and lived in White Rock, New Westminster, Squamish, Burnaby, and Coquitlam. Lynette is survived by her son, Neil (Renate), grandson Jordan (April), granddaughter Kelsi (Edwin), and brother George Radford (Marge). She was predeceased by parents, George W. Radford and Henrietta Thrift Radford, her loving husband, George, brothers Gordon (Noreen) and Robert (Jean) and sisters Martha, Margaret Dueck (Ben), June Crutchley (Jim), and Edith (Dee) Ingles (Stan). An independent woman, Lynette was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was an avid baker, master gardener, seamstress, brewer, landscape painter, and a faithful student of Christianity. She will be missed. A celebration of Lynette's life will be held January 27, 2007 in White Rock. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Lynette's memory.
