SHOVE,Madeleine Josephine Lindquist Apr 2, 1925 - Oct 6, 2009
Madeleine was born in Loverna SK and grew up in Lloydminster, AB. She was in England during WWII & moved France after the war. In 1952 she returned to Canada & lived in Edmonton where she worked as a model. In 1959 she moved to West Vancouver, until 1971 when she relocated to Salt Spring Is. She lived in Kelowna & Langley in 1979-1997. She has resided in White Rock since 1997 and her wonderful friends here have been like a second family. Madeleine is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Ted), sister Marie, brother Duane (Ellen), sisters-in-law Lillian and Florence, special nieces Sandra and Danielle as well as many other nieces and nephews. Madeleine is pre-deceased by her son, Jim, brothers Albert and Lyal, nephew Dwight and husband Graham. Special thanks to all the staff in Peace Arch Hospital ICU for their kind care for mom. The funeral service will be held at Star of the Sea Church 1153 Fir Street on Wed. Oct. 21 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, plse send a donation to Covenant House 575 Drake St. Vanc., BC V6B 4K8
