Passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital on December 2, 2002 at the age of 84. She is survived by her three loving children; Grant (Dody), Rick (Sharon), Valerie (Harry). Seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Alverne was predeceased by her loving husband Frank (1982) and sister Greta (2000). Alverne was born in Sault St. Marie, Ontario. She moved to B.C. at the age of two. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge for over 60 years. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Crescent United Church, 2756 - 127 St. Surrey on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at 1 p.m. A special thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Peace Arch Hospital.
