Margaret Palmer

Margaret Joan (nee Stowe), beloved wife of Mr. Lloyd Palmer of 59 years, of White Rock, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2004 at the age of 80 years.

Besides her loving husband, Margaret is also survived by her children Allan (Graeme) of Vancouver, Glenn (Sheila) of Regina, and Diane (Jeff) of Vancouver; grandchildren Chad, Michelle and Brittany. She is also survived by sister Eileen Riley; sister-in-laws Bernie Stowe, Dorothy Palmer and several nieces and nephews in Canada and England.

Predeceased by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Born September 3, 1923 in Monks Eleigh, Britain.

Margaret immigrated as a war bride in September 1946 to Aylsham, SK. When Lloyd rejoined the Air Force in 1957 they lived in various Air Force bases in Canada and Germany; retired to Whte Rock in 1973; she spent four years in the RAF; belonged to the Legion for over 30 years, and was an active volunteer at Kent Street Senior Centre in White Rock.

A Memorial Service was held at Crescent Beach Legion, 2643 - 128 Street, Surrey on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
