MARIE ANDREWS

4 February 1921 - 23 July 2008

Marie was born in Wheathampstead, England,where she grew up helping the in the family butcher shop, married Eric in 1947, emigrated to Canada in 1952 and moved to White Rock in 1957.

She was active with the Girl Guides of Canada for over 50 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and crosswords and was well known for her baking, marmalade and the correct way to make tea!

She was generous with her time helping others and brightening up their day with flowers from her garden.

She was an active member of Holy Trinity Church, cooking hundreds of turkeys and correctly brewing thousands of pots of tea over the years. She was active in the Alter Guild, performed numerous other duties and was always ready to brew a cup of tea.

She will be sadly missed by her four children, Sheila, Sally, Mark and Paul. other family members and her many friends.

The celebration of Marie's life will be held on Thursday 31st July 2008 at 2 pm at:

Holy Trinity Church,

15115, Roper Avenue, White Rock.
