Marjorie “Jean” Knutson born in Vancouver, raised in Quesnel, and passed away suddenly on December 26, 2008 at her home in South Surrey, BC. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Alvin; brother Grant (Wilma); children Gary, Barbara (Robin), Keith (Barbara); grandchildren Alicia and Jedd and special friends Ruby and Bill. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Marjorie Thomson. Jean was a long time resident of Richmond, BC and later of South Surrey, BC. She worked many years for the Woodward’s and Bay Department Stores. Jean was a strong badminton player, an enthusiastic sports fan and also loved gardening and visiting with her many friends and relatives. She
was a very selfless person and devoted to her family. Jean lived life with vigour and energy. Jean was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister and friend and will be deeply missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC would be appreciated. No service by request.
