It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our dear Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma.

Marjorie suffered a stroke early Monday evening, January 10, 2005 and died just before midnight.

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, our Dad, Neil.

She is survived by her children: Janet, Susan, Isabel, Jack and Alexa and their spouses Larry Gordon, Mike Richards, Tom Chernoff, Stella MacDonald and Anthony Lucente.

Her 11 grandchildren are: Jason (Jeanne) Stephanie (Chris), Shane, Stephen (Tina), Lauren (Cameron), Timothy, Graham, Colin, Geoffrey, Kara and Brent. Her great-grandchildren are Lucy, Jack and William

She was born Marjorie Jackson, June 27, 1920 in Victoria and grew up in Burnaby.

She struck out on an adventure, moving to Prince Rupert to work in the Drydock during the War.

She met Neil there and they were married in 1946.

Marjorie and Neil spent many happy years in Prince Rupert raising their family and sharing in business ventures and community life.

After his death in 1974, Marjorie moved to White Rock where she built a new life for herself.

She served the community in many ways, especially the I.O.D.E., The Canadian Cancer Society, Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary, South Surrey Garden Club and St. Mark's Church.

Marjorie was an avid golfer, gardener, photographer and cook. She loved to knit and crochet for her entire family, expecially the babies, until the day she died.
