With great sadness we announce Martha's passing at Peace Arch Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She died peacefully with her husband by her side. Predeceased by daughter Jean, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband Douglas, son Steven (Marlene), daughter Sharen, grand-daughter Stephanie, son-in-law Ken, grand-daughter Kimberly and many nieces and nephews. Martha was born in Coatbridge, Scotland moving to Canada in 1932. An active member of the Sons of Scotland for over 50 years Martha loved to travel and enjoy life. She will be greatly missed. We would like to thank her doctor and the nurses at Peace Arch Hospital for the wonderful care she received during her many stays. A celebration of life will be held at the Chateau Cargill, 3550 King George Hwy, South Surrey at 2pm Friday April 16. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.
