Born in Calgary, Alberta June 18, 1920.
Passed away December 9, 2005.
Predeceased by her loving husband John Irvine Craig Edmondson (1994).
Survived by her three daughters Jacquelyn Marie Jarvis (Trevor), Janet Elizabeth Flagel (Ken), Joyce Ann Howard (Les); six grandchildren Nadine Elizabeth and Lawrence John Flagel, Michelle Lee Wilson (nee Jarvis), Monica Marie Dugdale (nee Jarvis), Dustin John Howard and Adelle Catherine Howard.
"Bessie" loved chidren and even though she was busy raising three daughters of her own, she found room in her heart to care for 27 foster children from the time they were born until they were placed in their adoptive homes.
She volunteered for various organizations such as the Mother's March of Dimes and the Cancer Society.
She loved to sing, bake, golf, walk, play bridge and was a devoted wife, Mother and Grandmother.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Peace Portal Lodge for the loving care their Mother received during her stay there. There will be no Memorial Service, however, a Tea will be held in the New Year - information forthcoming.
