Passed away on Friday, January 21, 2005, after a brief illness in her 99th year.
Mom lived a long and healthy life and until three weeks ago was enjoying all life's amenities.
We called her the "Road Runner" as Reno was never more than a day's drive away.
Born in Northfield (Nanaimo, BC) in 1906 she was predeceased by her husband George in 1972 and her son George in 1996,her brother John and two sisters, Louise and Harriet.
She is survived by her loving sons Bill (Rose) and Gordon (Marie) and daughter in law Doreen.
Rich in family, Mary leaves five grandchildren Linda, Denise, Cathy, BIll and Candace, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and Aunt "Sis" to several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 28th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby.
Interment followed.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 360-1385 - 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, would be appreciated.
