Mary "Louise" Kelman

April 21, 2004

Passed away on April 21, 2004 surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born in Balcarres, Saskatchewan on October 15, 1915. Her body did not keep pace with her faith, willpower and positive determination. She resided in South Vancouver from 1920 until 1992 when Louise and Dave moved to White Rock.

Predeceased by son Donnie, 12/25/49; husband Dave, 03/30/93; parents Jack and Maud Harries; brother Ted; sister Kitty.

she is survived by loving daughters Barbara (Stan) Sandover and Wendy (Wayne) Lownsbrough; grandchildren Tami (Kevan), Dave (Sofia), Doug (Kristy), Kelly and Brad; great-grandchildren Dylan, Cassidy, Jorden, Paige, Clayton, Connor and Jack; sister-in-law Jean Johnson; brother-in-law Doug Ross; cousins,nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to the staff and residents at Crescent Gardens. Louise and Dave owned Kelman's Pet & Garden Shop at 43rd & Victoria Drive, Vancouver, for many years.

Funeral Service was held Monday, April 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Memorial park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey. Rev. Albert R. Josephson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canuck Place, B.C. Lung Association or B.C. Cancer Foundation in memory of Louise.
