MURRAY - Matthew R.G. "Jock; retired Vancouver Police Officer and original Dog Squad member. Matthew passed away with his family at his side on September 17, 2009. Matthew was born in Fife, Scotland on November 6, 1927. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sheila; his children Andrew (Marguerite), Alison (Glenn), Melissa (Stephen); his 6 grandchildren; family in Scotland; his special nephew Colin; family in England, Daughter, 2 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. We wish to thank the very caring staff of Laurel Place Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday September 25, 2009 at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Surrey Hospice Society, 13857 - 68th Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W-2G9 for Laurel Place Hospice.
