BRAATEN, Nils, of South Surrey, passed away suddenly April 26, 2008 at Peace Arch Hospital. Born in Norway on May 14, 1921. Nils is lovingly remembered by his family; his wife of 65 years Annie, his children Marlene (Terry), Nils (Kristi), Jim (Anne) and Lisa (Rod), his 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also remembered by his sister Lily (Magnus) as well as many other family members and friends. A celebration of Nils life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Nils memory to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family thanks the Dr's and nurses at Peace Arch Hospital for the loving care shown to Nils.
