It is with great sadness that the family of Marguerite Patricia Redman (Pat) announce that Pat died peacefully in hospital on Monday, June 12th, after complications arising from congestive heart failure and a recent heart surgery. Pat will be deeply missed by her husband of 62 years, Ken, their three children Debbie, Ross (Donna) and Rob (Nadine), their nine grandsons – Kenny (Danielle), Jamie, Rick, Paul, Anthony, Ben, Spencer, Sam and Alex, her sister Cookie (June), her brothers Bill and Herb (Minnie), her sisters-in-law Lois (Wayne) and Shirley (Dale), her brother-in-law Bill, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents Bill and Vicky Humphreys, her sisters Irene, Vera and Vicky, and her brothers Reg and Bunny (Jim). Pat grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba in a family of nine, with loving parents Bill and Vicky Humphreys. In 1953, she met the love of her life, Ken, and married him on June 25, 1955. She was an incredibly strong, confidant, proud woman, who threw herself into whatever she did, and she was the glue that kept the family together. At Pat’s request, a small, private celebration of life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada www.cysticfibrosis.ca , in her name. Her two grandsons, Paul and Anthony, were born with Cystic Fibrosis, and her unwavering wish was that a cure is found in their lifetime.
