Scott, Patricia-Lee Maude,

April 4, 1968 - July 9, 2010

Enthusiastic, bright, witty, and most of all caring, she had a love for life. Pattie passed away on July 9th, 2010 after a long and hard 3 year battle with cancer. Predeceased by her father Fred, sister Ginny (husband Don Haldane), and grandparents. Pattie will be eternally loved by her mother Ruth, older sisters, Sherry (husband Don Carr), Valerie, and Stacie (husband Todd Beavis), nephews Jason and Christopher Carr, Justin and Tyler Haldane, Keenan and Quinn Beavis. She will also be missed by aunts, uncles, many cousins, friends, co-workers and students who she influenced with her positivity and generosity over the years. All through her life, Pattie was known as the Rock of the Family, and always found positives for any struggles that she may have encountered. She had a belief of natural healing and went on to be a gifted Massage Therapist and Reiki Master so that she could bring comfort to others. Pattie always believed in putting others first and truly cared about other individuals, which was evident through her work in Women's Shelters and through her Student Support Worker career at Brock Elementary School in Vancouver. Pattie made a positive impact on many people. She now takes a different journey but her memory will live on forever.
