Paul Kerry (Karashowsky)

December 20, 2002

Passed away quietly at Surrey Memorial on December 20, 2002 at the age of 81, after a losing battle with cancer. His brother, Walter, was at his side. Paul spent his early years in the Calmar-Leduc area where he was born, educated and a teacher in one of the country schools. His teaching career was interrupted by service in the R.C.A.F. After the war he tried teaching again but was soon lured by the natrual beauty and job opportunities in B.C. He moved to Vancouver, gained employment with a transportation company and later moved to Surrey where he lived until retirement.

Paul will be most remembered for his care-free, easy going and friendly disposition. He was also fond of seeing the lighter and less serious side of life. He had a great passion for hockey and baseball. Paul was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Michael and Russell. He leaves behind three sisters - Elsie of Edmonton, Olga of Duncan, B.C. and Nadia of Edmonton and five brothers - Walter of Surrey, John of Vancouver, Bohdan of Maple Ridge, Bill of Brandon, Man. and Eugene of Red Deer, Alberta.

Many grateful thanks to Dr. Luk and the nursing staff for the kind and compassionate care. Cremation and no service by request.

"I will miss you, Paul." Walter
