John passed away March 8, 2004 in Quesnel, B.C.
Survived by Maureen Dorval of Wells, B.C. and his first wife, Lila Polichek and brother, Victor (Dot) Polichek. Also children Barbara, Ian, Joane, Neil, Janet and seven grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Memorial tea was held in Quesnel Legion Hall. Many friends that enjoyed his gift of music were there to celebrate his life.
