EVANS, Phyllis Mary

It is with great sadness that the Evans family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Phyllis Mary Evans. She passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at MSA Manor in Abbotsford at the age of 86. Born in Pasqua, Saskatchewan on April 23, 1930 to Frank and Elizabeth Talbot, she was the fourth of six children. In 1947 the Talbot family moved to White Rock, BC. There she met and married Norman Evans on May 4, 1956 and had three children. Phyllis provided a warm and loving home for her family. She always thought of others first and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband Norman in 2005 and is survived by her loving children; daughter, Gaynor (Delbert) and sons, Martin (Treena) and Bob (Vivian) as well as her grandchildren; Kiley, Cara, Norah, Jesse and Jamie. She also leaves behind her sister Margaret (Cliff) and sisters-in-law Marilyn and Ruth and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the great staff at MSA Manor, the Peace Arch Hospital – Al Hogg Pavilion and the doctors that have helped along the way.
