Jan 30, 1939 - Jan 29, 2004. After a lengthy battle with cancer. Russ enjoyed a long career in broadcast starting in Ontario with shifts in London, Toronto, the Lakehead, Toledo, Phoenix and lastly Vancouver. Russ was a 20 year resident of South Surrey and was involved in many community groups including being a founding member of the Cres. Beach Yacht Club. Russ is survived by his daughter Sarah, sons Jesse and Michael and son Russ Easter of California, brother Steve and sister Gerry. Memorial services will be held February 21, 2004 at 1:30 pm in Qualicum Beach at St. Stephen's United Church and in Vancouver in March . Russ's signature sign off was "spread some love".
