LOCKEY, Shirley May
It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley May Lockey (Barr) announce her death on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the age of 81.Shirley died peacefully at home with her family as was her wish. Her love of fun, travel, family and friends will forever be remembered by her children Cheryl Doubt (Ken) of Chesley, Sandy Smith (Glenn) of London and Chris Lockey (Beth) of Orangeville; 9 grandchildren,2 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Baratta; brother Alvin Barr; sister-in-law Cassie Barr; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Derek (Dick) Lockey in 1985; parents Frank & May Barr and brothers Wib and Harold. Born and raised in Mossley, lived much of her adult life in Ingersoll, ON, Camrose, AB, Surrey and White Rock, BC and London,ON. A heartfelt thanks to CCAC and London VON for their compassionate and personal care. Visitation at Bieman Funeral Home, Dorchester was on Friday, March 26, 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 27, 1:00 - 2:00 pm followed by the funeral at 2:00 pm.
