MELIDONES Stathy "Mel"
Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, June 3rd, 1919. Mel served as a flight officer with RCAF from June 30th, 1941 until 1945. He saw duty missions towing the gliders at Arnheim and D-Day. He worked for many years at the Medicine Hat post office. Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia (Pat). He is survived by son Jim (Heather), many relatives and friends in Medicine Hat, Calgary and White Rock. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 1:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 28th Ave., Surrey, BC.
