Thomas Montague Davenport

October 31, 2004

Died October 31, 2004 at the Evergreen Baptist Home.

Most of his 81 years had been lived in White Rock in the original family home, first with his mother and father, Thomas and Elsie, then on his own.

Servicing electrical circuits on fighter aircrafts after a D Day landing led to a career with Spilsbury and Tindal installing and servicing radio telephones on fish boats up and down the coast.

His last employment was in White Rock repairing TV's and radios in a shop at the Five corners.

Despite opinions, often irascible and crusty, he was, at heart, a gentle and sensitive soul, impeccably ethical and decent in all respects.

Friends were invited to share their memories of Tom at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 in the Small Chapel of the Victory Funeral Center, 14831 - 28th Ave., Surrey, BC.
