(In her 90th year)
Our precious Mom, Nanny and
friend to many passed into the
Loving Arms of her Lord on
January 31, 2007.
Mom was born in Aldersyde,
Alberta on February 21, 1917.
She lived most of her life in
Richmond, B.C. and the later part in
South Surrey and White Rock. She
is predeceased by her husband Carl
on October 2002 and lovingly
remembered by her daughter Carla
(husband Phil), Grandchildren Chris and
Diana, 4 nephews and 3 nieces and
many friends whose lives she touched. The last 3 years, Mom lived at Ocean
View Care home where she not only
received tender, loving care, but also
made many friends. Thank you to the staff at Ocean View and also Dr. L.
Darby for attending to her every need and giving her the medical attention she
required, especially in the last month.
A service to celebrate Mom's life
will be held at Sunnyside United
Church, 15639 - 24th Ave, South Surrey, on Saturday February 10, 2007 at 1pm.
Prov 31: 30-31 Charm is deceptive,
and beauty does not last; but a
woman who fears the Lord will be
greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly
declare her promise.
