Passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock on May 21/04 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Val was born on October 2, 1945 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire England.
She came to Canada in 1965 and finally settled in White Rock in 1972.
Val leaves behind a son, a daughter, 2 grandchildren and countless friends and family.
Many heartfelt thanks to the nurses and doctors on Palliative at Peace Arch, for their tireless care of Val.
A Celebration of Val's life was held at First United Church in White Rock on Friday, May 28, 2004.
