SKRETKOWICZ, Walter Francis passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital on November 9, 2008 at the age of 88. We say goodbye to a loved and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he was married to Cecilia Mary for 55 years and they are now walking together hand in hand. His daughters Leah (Bill Bailey) and Cecilia (Rick Warren), grandchildren David and Kalla Warren and his 14 nieces and nephews will miss him so much. A Memorial Mass will he held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 9:00 am at Star of the Sea Parish, 1153 Fir Street, White Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundations.
