SERRON: Walter (Laddie) born April 26, 1928 in Rama, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 8, 2006. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years Josefina, his son Perry, daughters Ina (Steve) and Lea; Two grandchildren Greg and Halle, his sisters; Ann, Carrie, Sophie, Helen and Theo, brother Michael, nieces nephews, many, many, relatives and good friends. He is predeceased by his brother Dan and sister Olive. Walter's mining career took him all over Canada to the Orient, where he met his wife, returning to Canada to raise, his family. A time of Visitation will be held on Thursday November 16, 2006 between 5p.m. - 7 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 2250 150th Street at 3 p.m. Cremation to take place. Walter will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and his sense of humour.
