Walter Toronchuk passed away on September 16, 2002 at the age of 80 years.
He is survived by his loving family; wife Nena, sons Tim (Judy) of North Delta, Dan (Dottie) of Lynden, Washington, Phil (Sharon) of Langley, daughters Faith Toronchuk of Langley and Grace (Bill) Wasylkiw of Vernon, grandchildren Tammy (James) Croft, Michelle (David) Tanner, Rod (Leanna) True, Rebecca (Darren) Litke, David (Melissa) Manley, Natalia Toronchuk, Tania Toronchuk, Amber Toronchuk, Laura Toronchuk, Jill Toronchuk, Joel Toronchuk, Cherie Toronchuk, Chad Toronchuk, Jesse Toronchuk, also by 6 great grandchildren and brothers Russell Toronchuk, Ollie Toronchuk, and sister Sylvia Toronchuk.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27 from 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. at Fraser Heights Funeral Home, 14835 Fraser Highway, Surrey followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. in Sunnyside Lawn Cemetery, 14850 - 28 Avenue, Surrey.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 3:00 p.m. in White Rock Baptist Church, 1657 - 140 Street, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the European Christian Mission, Suite 226, 1077 - 56 Street, Delta, B.C. V4L 2A2.
