CONN-Willard Frank
With fond memories, we say goodbye to Willard Conn, who passed away peacefully and quickly on March 28, 2009 at the age of 91 with his son Ron lovingly at his side. Willard was born in St. Thomas, Ontario on March 17, 1918. He is pre-deceased by wives Merle and Audrey, brothers Roy and Morley and survived by his sister Norma, also survived by son Ronald Conn and daughter-in-law Ella Conn of Vancouver BC, and by daughter Gail LaDouceur and son-in-law Donald LaDouceur of Essex, Ontario, he is predeceased by daughter Morlene Fauteaux. Willard is also survived by 7 grandchildren Christopher Conn, Janis LaDouceur, Sherry Poupard, Michelle LaDouceur, Gerry LaDouceur, Rick Fauteaux, Lori Fauteaux and predeceased by 2 grandchildren Curtis LaDouceur and David Fauteaux. Willard is further survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Willard lived in London, Ontario and worked for Northern Telecom for 35 years until his retirement in 1979. He moved to White Rock BC with his wife Merle in 1990. Willard was a very special person who always had a smile on his face and was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends and will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. We lovingly know that he is at home now with his wife Merle who passed in 1997. The family would like to thank his many friends who have taken the time to call with their respects. A funeral service celebrating his life will be on Friday April 3 at 2:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home at 14660-72nd Ave. Surrey, BC. The family further invites his many friends to view and pay their respects privately from 1-2 pm on April 3 at Valley View Funeral Home.
