Born April 4, 1929 in Shawnavon, Saskatchewan. Passed away December 10, 2002 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie of 51 years. Daughters Shelly Harper and Darcie Clifford and son Dan Clifford, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister Loretta Portwood and brother Gerry Clifford, Mother-in-law Violet Stewart. Bill was educated in New Westminster, Lister, Kelvin T.J. Trap Tech and finally at Semiahmoo High in White Rock.
Bill's business life spanned a 43 year period - dry cleaning, building and building supply, ending in the automobile industry.
At Bill's request there will be no service. There will be an open house reception at Bill & Marj's home at 1580 Chestnut Street, White Rock on Saturday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m.
A special thanks to the caring nurses at Peace Arch Palliative Care Unit and doctors at Surrey Cancer Centre and White Rock Dr. Fletcher. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Peace Arch Hospital would be appreciated.
