Passed away gently at Peace Portal Lodge May 14, 2004 in White Rock.
He is survived and dearly missed by his loving wife Jose; son Ray Lammerts, daughter Ingrid (Ron) Hope; son Michael (Tracy) Lammerts; grandchildren Ryan and Renee Lammerts; Robyn, Dustin and Mackenzie Hope; Cecelia Irvine, James and Christie Goldthorpe; mother Sabine Lammerts; sisters Agnes Lammerts; Tiny (Johnny)Wiggers and Toos Van-Tintelen, and brothers Engelbert (Wilna) Lammerts, Rene (Margriet) Lammerts; Koos (Mimy) Lammerts, and George Lammerts.
Predeceased by his father Otto Lammerts and sister Nora Mulder.
Bill gave generously of his time in charitable activities while involved in the Surrey and Beaver Valley Rotary Clubs and White Rock Knights of Collumbus. He loved his career as a BC Land Surveyor and his passion was sailing. He was a devoted family man and Opa will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass was Celebrated Monday, May 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in Good Shepherd Church, 2250 - 150th Street, Surrey. Father S. Galvon Celebrant.
