Born August 15, 1921 passed away June 19, 2003 in White Rock, B.C. He was predeceased by one sister and five brothers. Bill is survived by his wife Pearl, sons Bill Jr. (Jane) and Ron (Cathy), and daughter Lynne (Ed). He is also survived by grandchildren Chris, Lorri (Ken), Brian, Brad, Sherri, Colin (Sharon), Greg and Jennifer as well as great grandchildren Lauren, Austin, Nick, Samantha, Stephanie and Joshua, one brother Gordon, and numerous nieces and nephews. Heavy served 35 years with the Vancouver Fire Department retiring as District Chief. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and baseball. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
