Born in Plymouth, England January 21, 1912, passed away peacefully February 27, 2005 at Westminster House, Surrey, BC, after a struggle with Alzheimer's.
Predeceased by her husband Tom, sister Muriel Smith and granddaughter Tracy.
Survived by her son Terry (Joan) of Surrey, daughter Lennie (Herb) and son Tommy of Australia; grandchildren Cathy, Janice, Brad, Susan, Dean and Brett, great-grandchldren Braden, Georgia, Alex and Olivia; sister Margaret Alberta (Bert) Metzler of Abbotsford; nieces Sylvia (Bob), Pauline (Bob), Deena (Andy) and nephew Jim (Cheryl).
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Westminster House for their gentle care and compassion.As per Winnie's request there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of BC or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
