Re: This city would be just right, Aug. 9 letters.

In order to move from White Rock to Surrey, we don’t need the approval of either city, and we don’t have to involve the federal government.

This is about us and who we chose to be associated with.

Crescent Beach wanting to join with White Rock to form Peninsula City, Cascadia or anything else we agree on does not need approval, i.e. Harrison Mills Unincorporated. We incorporate, and we’re now a city. Peninsula City Unincorporated. Hold a referendum; you’re a city.

Talk to the neighbours along 16 Avenue, vote to join Surrey and they have to move the border to Russell. Don’t need council, don’t need city hall and don’t need province or the feds.

Organize a vote and it’s done.
