Taxpayers now gain a better understanding (Surrey First foursome eye mayoralty, April 13) as to why Surrey Mayor Linda Hepner is such an enthusiastic supporter of the $1,000-per-year ‘retirement bonus’ proposed by Metro mayors!
What a disgraceful example of self-interest at our expense, to say nothing about voting on a topic that raises a conflict of interest.
