The Surrey Hospital Foundation is so grateful to have been selected as one of the two charitable recipients of the fourth annual Holiday Home Tour for Hope. Proceeds were shared with the Peace Arch Hospice Society.
Over 1,000 well-wishers kicked off the holiday season by enjoying tours of six private homes festooned for the holidays by some of the area’s preeminent designers and florists.
The tour raised just under $40,000 for the Breast Health Clinic within the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. The funds will be used to purchase imaging technology for our medical team led by Dr. Rhonda Jansen.
The Surrey Hospital Foundation, which raises funds for the centre, extends heartfelt thanks to the amazing Holiday Home chairs (Tammy, Debi, Lori and Amy); the countless volunteers who helped organize and execute the three-day event; the homeowners who graciously opened their beautiful houses to over 1,000 well-wishers; the florists and decorators who helped create magical experiences in each of the six homes; and to the event’s sponsors and generous donors who helped make this an event an outstanding success.
