I have a great idea to raise revenues, so that it won’t be necessary to increase taxes.
How about enforcing the speed limit with a week-long blitz along the east end of Marine Drive?
The ticket revenue from speeders doing 60 or more (which is the norm), should fill up the coffers mighty quick.
Do this several times a year, and the revenues should be the amount of the whole city budget!!
