Ball hockey league set for White Rock
A ball hockey league is set to begin this spring on the Semiahmoo Peninsula.
Semiahmoo Minor Ball Hockey will run out of Centennial Arena beginning in mid-April, and is open to players from six to 19 years old.
“Ball hockey is well-established in other places around the Lower Mainland, like Langley and Delta, but it’s never been out here before,” said Lance Parker, who helped put together the new association.
Registration sessions are planned for three weekends over the next month, beginning with Feb. 18-20 (Friday to Sunday). Other registration weekends – all held at the boardroom in Centennial Arena – are Feb. 25-27 and March 4-6. Friday registration is open 6-9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and Sunday, from 2-6 p.m.
Centennial Arena is located at 14600 North Bluff Rd.
